13 Things Mentally Strong People Don't Do

My thoughts

I really like 13 Things Mentally Strong People Don’t Do, because it aligns with alot of my views on self help. You need to do before you can reap. When that’s being said I think it is a little long and I am happy to have heard it as an audiobook. The book overall has some great stories to reflect upon the steps laid out.

I would not call it merely a checklist as it is not a how to per say. I have personally picked and chosen which things I found relevant for me personally and I would recommend you to if you would like to read this book. This book is good to take a little personal notes once in awhile, to reflect about what is important for you. Just so that you can work on your own path.

I found this book motivational and it gave me another perspective on my inner voice. This is a book I would buy to have small notes inside so that i could go back and read the small golden nuggets for later and se where I have been and eventually follow up on my progress.

I give this book a score of 3,8/5 because I really enjoyed to listen to the speaker and like when the author is the one reading the audio-book out loud. It is both more authentic and the right voice for the main character or the way it is written. When that has been said after reading the book and figuring out that the book is based on an article the author wrote I felt that the book was a little extra in regards to text and fleshing out the topics.

Success doesn't make you immune to mental health issues, relationship troubles or parenting problems!
